Customer Challenge
The customer faced increasing electricity costs caused by high power demand during peak hours. To improve energy efficiency and reduce electricity expenses, the customer required an energy storage solution that could store electricity during lower-cost periods and supply power during peak-demand hours.
Energy Storage Solution
HBOWA provided a 200kW / 576kWh C&I energy storage system with intelligent EMS control. The energy storage system includes 36 pieces of 16kwh battery packs(314ah battery cells), for a total of 576kWh capacity, and a Megarevo MPS 200kW microgrid series hybrid inverter, air cooling system, fire extinguishing system, EMS, etc.
The system operates by:
- Charging batteries during off-peak electricity periods
- Discharging stored energy during peak demand hours
- Reducing grid power consumption during high-cost periods
