To calculate the backup time of the battery, let’s take an example, if we use a 5000W inverter with the power efficiency of 94% in the solar system, if your home appliances are working at the power of 5KW to reach the full rate of the inverter, then the run time of the lithium battery would be:
48V * 200Ah * 0.8 * 0.94 / 5000W = 1.444 hours.
If you only use lights, an electrical fan, and a refrigerator at night, the power needed is about 450w, then the run time would be:
48V * 200Ah * 80% * 0.94 / 450w = 16.04 hours.
