EMS Energy Management System

The EMS is the intelligent control center of the BESS container. It monitors battery status, PCS operation, grid connection, solar generation, and load demand in real time, helping the system decide when to charge, discharge, store energy or supply power. With remote monitoring through computer and mobile platforms, you can track the battery energy storage container bess performance, receive alarms and optimize energy use more efficiently, without the need to go on site.

PCS and Grid Connection

The PCS means the power conversion system, which converts DC power from the battery into AC power for the grid and loads(DC to AC mode), and charges the AC power into the battery(AC to DC mode). It supports battery charging and discharging control, grid interaction, backup power output, and smooth power regulation. HBOWA deeply cooperates with brand PCS factories in China to support your custom BESS container solutions.

Thermal Management and Cooling

The containerized battery energy storage systems can be customized with air cooling or liquid cooling according to your project’s detailed situations, such as ambient temperature, installation environment, and operating requirements. Air cooling is suitable for standard C&I and moderate temperature applications, while liquid cooling provides more precise temperature control for higher capacity containerized battery energy storage system projects.
